Robot Training – Robot Vision Guidance Class (Western Michigan University)

Robot Vision Guide Class

Pre-Requisite: Basic Programming Class

Our Robot Vision Guidance Class is a new half-day course with a capacity of 8 students per class.

Sign up for one of of the 2 times listed below:

  • Friday, October 21st 8:00 am – 12:00 pm (lunch included)
  • Friday, October 21st 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm (lunch included)

Anyone who has taken our Level 1 basic robot programming course is invited to extend their knowledge in this intermediate robot vision guidance class. This half-day course starts with basic instruction on best methods and practices, as well as vision applications, and follows with hands-on lab time. By the end of this course, you will have a better understanding of how vision guidance is being used with robotics in manufacturing. Please note that we will provide laptops on-site.

  • Fundamentals of Robot Vision Applications
  • Connectivity to EPSON CV2 Vision Controller
  • EPSON Vision Software & RC+7.0 Robot Software
  • Fundamentals of Lenses — Lens Types & Selection
  • Fundamentals of Lighting — Lighting Types & Selection
  • Robot Vision Calibration Methods
  • Vision Tools
  • Image Optimization
  • Two Applications With Robots, Vision, Lighting, Lenses, & Tooling

Cost: $300 (We will award a $100 credit if you’ve purchased a robot from us. FREE admission for students and interns).
