Designers Edge Engineering was established in 1979 as an Engineering Company involved in all stages of designing and project managing of the process of building special machinery. Over the years, Designers Edge found a special proficiency in core processes involved in Assembly and Testing types of projects.

In 2008 Designers Edge decided to partner with Manufacturer Representative - Schneider & Company who has access to a variety of standard assembly and automation products. The strategy was intended to address two growing and anticipated needs.

• To offer better solutions to the increasing needs of Manufacturing Customers with Capital Utilization Initiatives for the Re-Engineering/Re-Tooling of Multi-Process Assembly and Test Production Lines.
• To offer resource flexibility for Companies who wish to contract Engineering and Project Management until such a time as they can support their own full time positions for these needs.

For Re-Tooling Lines

With Schneider & Company's access to Automation and Assembly Process products we can “fill the gaps” between existing useable equipment and the missing process equipment needed to re-engineer and retool for a new production part.

For Contract Engineering Services

Our unique approach to service packages is based on defined stages and objectives. We focus on a list of defined tasks which our experience has taught us are critical to success, then we supply specific deliverables. We believe this is the highest quality approach to contract engineering and project management.

Designer's Edge believe that there is “no good implementation of a bad plan” so we endeavor to take a complete and defined approach to both Re-Tooling and Contract Engineering.
