Weber Screwdriving Systems
Weber Screwdriving Systems of Yorktown Heights, NY, was established as a US company from their parent company in Germany in the mid 1970’s. Since their arrival in the US market, Weber has been known to be a leader in Auto-feed Screwdriving and Nut-Running systems.
Over the years Weber has expanded their capabilities in order to offer higher value solutions. Today Weber can supply standard core products, engineered workstations and special designed and built machines based on their core competency of Screwdriving and Nut running. Within the past couple of years, Weber has released several new products to expand their application base. These new products include; the ZSL series of step type feeders, the LCS line of simple slide spindles, the new C50 DC controller, the new ECO series of auto-feed hand held drivers and two niche fastener installation systems (flow drilling and expander plug/blind rivet).

Models SA 03,10 and 30 NM
- Accurate mounting of spindle stroke ensures reliable and safe operation
- Easily adjusted sensors
- Castellated interface connection guarantees an absolute concentric secure mounting
- 3 sizes - 3NM, 10NM, and 30NM capacity
Marathon Series - SEB Style Drive Unit
( Head Stroke & Bit Stroke )
- Head stroke module provides Z axis to bring the jaws to the part for screwdriving bit stroke to work
- Facilitates automatic stripping of un-driven screws from the jaws
- Application determines the head stroke, how the customer presents part to screw-driver will determine what stroke is needed for the application.
- Simple ‘push-in’ air connections
- Rear ‘Mounting’ system

Weber’s Monitoring and Controlling Systems
- Concept of controller: For EC drives
- Values for torque and angle will be generated from the servo amplifier of the motor
- Torque is a measurement of motor current
- Problem: Acceleration and parameter change vary the current
- The relation of torque to current has to be establishes again.
Weber’s Monitoring and Controlling Systems
Multi-function programmable Weber controllers takes over the complete screwdriving or inserting processes. Easy to understand software is used for the evaluation of parameters relative to the screwdriving process. The data can be used to analyze and evaluate the joint characteristics.
