Schmidt Intelligent Motion and Control
Schmidt offers standard programmable “force applying” motion control modules from 180lbs to nearly 34,000lbs. The PC4000 controller is a CNC/PLC/PC controller with a windows user interface. It can communicate with external I/O for functioning test tooling and receive inputs from various analog and digital devices. It has several connectivity options for transferring results of test data such RS-232, Serial and Ethernet. The PC4000 also has capability for various relationship graphic displays using control tool software.

Schmidt Test Machine
Using the Schmidt Servo “force applying” modules in conjunction with other mechanical systems and sensor technology; testing and calibration of several different type of systems are possible. These systems can be used to satisfy production product testing requirements where controlled linear force is related to other functional elements such as distance, fluid flow, force, torque, time, speed and electrical output.
